Chemistry; Organic Cluster

Laurelee received her bachelor of science in Chemistry, from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. While there, she worked on synthesizing Lesquerella derived biophosphonates! In the Soellner lab, she is interested in the interface of organic synthesis with medicinal chemistry and biological applications. 

When not in the lab, Laurelee enjoys crocheting and baking (although she has set her oven on fire twice...), as well as outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the outdoors!
